Cumberland Multicultural Community Services has a proven track record of working with schools across Western Sydney. The organisation has been delivering education activities and psycho-social workshops within schools for the past forty years. These targeted and evidence-based programs aim to increase the knowledge, skills, and resilience of students.
Cumberland Multicultural Community Services can support schools and students by working with schools to develop and deliver a range of targeted activities that increase student engagement and positive behaviour. Programs can be developed to cover topics such as resilience building, education skills, student mental health, employability skills, student leadership and other tailored student support activities as identified by individual schools
We offer schools a range of options, including support at no cost, subject to requirements, or fee-for-service. We can also support schools to apply for community grants to run student support activities. Please contact us to discuss the range of options available.
Rise Above is available as a quality-assured program in the NSW Department of Education’s Student Wellbeing external programs catalogue under the theme of Resilience.
